NEWSLETTER

Dear family and friends,

Summer is on us and many students will be coming home from college and others will be looking for work. Keep them in your prayers.

The youth will be taking a trip to Florida this summer, remember them.

We are hoping to present a bus to the church soon.

Revival will be May 17-20 with Dr. Walter Burrell. Pray that God will touch our individual hearts and our body of believers.

This Sunday is Mother's Day. We want to wish a blessed Mother's Day to all our mothers and to all mothers.

Bible School will be taking place again this summer. We will be setting up the dates soon. Keep Bible school in prayer.

Thanks to all of our teachers for your hard work. And thanks to all our choir members and musicians for all the time you put into making the music program such a blessing.

NEWSLETTER - MARCH 15, 2009

Dear family and friends of Charity,

We want to thank you for your faithful prayers and attendance each week. We rejoice over God's sweet spirit and those who have come to know the Lord lately.

A special thanks to all our teachers, deacons and workers in the church.

Please pray for the many sick ones in our family. Physical cancer and spiritual cancer alike brings devastating effects on all of us. Pray for the sick.

Pray for our missionaries. I am sure many are losing financial support as the economy as been down. Pray that we can continue to give each month to our missionaries.

Pray for each service that the Lord Jesus Christ will be lifted up and exalted.

Pray for our youth and music leaders and department.

Lastly, if you will, remember "Revival" in May with Dr. Walter Burrell. Pray God will bless!

NEWSLETTER FOR FEBRUARY

Dear Family and Friends,
I hope you enjoy the month of February. Keep praying for each service that God would meet with us and work in our hearts so we might worship Him.

This month is filled with many other activities:

February 07 - Master's men will meet for breakfast and prayer at 9:00, Saturday morning. Come and pray, enjoy the fellowship and help us serve others.

February 13 - The young people will be having pizza that night and preparing themseles to serve on Saturday evening.

February 14 - Come and enjoy our Valentine's Banquet. A five-course meal will be served for only $9.00 a head. Hope you can come. Time: 6:00-8:30

February 26-28 - Twenty-eight ladies of the church are going on a Ladies Retreat to Cherry Grove, SC. Pray for them. We wish we come open this up to more but the house only holds 28 people and all rooms are taken.

May I challenge you to get involved in Sunday School.
Brother Ray Puckett is doing a very good job in the main auditorium. He is teaching on First Thessalonians.

Brother David Gritton is teaching the "College and Career" class. If you are a young adult and you would enjoy getting to know other young adults, come and join it.

The class on "Witnessin" is meeting in the basement. It is very helpful and encouraging. Come and enjoy.

2009 NEWSLETTER - JANUARY

Dear Family and Friends,
I hope you have been staying warm during these cold days in January. I wanted to thank all of you for you faithfulness to Church this past year and ask you to pray for our church, our community and our nation.
Some have been sick, others are still not feeling well. Some of our family has cancer and other physical infirmities. Pray for them!

Keep the following dates in mind:
January 24 - The Youth will be having an outing at the gym.
January 30 - There is a Ski-trip planned. Contact Brother Scott about information. The youth will be leaving the church at 2:00.
